UK Platform Awards 2017 - Platform of the Year finalists named

7IM, A J Bell, Aegon, Aviva, Nucleus and Standard Life have been revealed as the six finalists in the running for the Platform of the Year accolade at September's 2017 UK Platform Awards.

To reach the shortlist, the judges - Bella Caridade-Ferreira of Fundscape (pictured), Heather Hopkins of Platforum, Kevin Okell of Altus, Mark Polson of the lang cat and Ian Thomas of Pilot Financial Planning - awarded the entrants' submissions points across each of nine criteria. The highest-scoring platforms - which, in Nucleus, includes the winner of the 2016 Platform of the Year title - now go through to the second stage of the process, which sees them interviewed by the judges on 24 August.
