Wiltshire adviser agrees sponsorship deal with local football club

‘Wanted to give back to the local community’

Wiltshire-based financial advice firm Unividual has become a primary sponsor of local football club Swindon Supermarine FC.

The firm, which has expanded from five to 14 employees over the past two years since the launch of its financial adviser academy, agreed the deal on 29 June for an undisclosed sum for the 2017/18 season initially. Unividual has been appointed the sponsor for both the club's home and away, men's and women's shirts.  It had initially contacted the club about an advert on the side of the pitch but later offered to become one of its main sponsors instead.  Marketing director and part-owner Cherie-Anne Baxter (pictured) said the firm was keen to support local sport in the community.  ...
