Free meeting after jackpot win

Premium bond jackpot winners will continue to receive free financial advice from chartered financial planner Matrix Capital, following the extension of its contract with National Savings and Investments (NS&I).

Matrix won the three-year contract from 2014 and has now been given a 12-month extension until 31 March next year. The firm provides an initial guidance meeting free of charge to the winner of the million-pound premium bond jackpot, which is often held inside a hotel in a secret meeting to protect the anonymity of the winner. It is the winners' choice whether they take the free meeting - although Matrix said they usually do.
