FSCS opens claims for HDH Investment Services amid investigation

Investment advisory firm entered liquidation in April after FCA probe

Clients of failed investment advisory firm HDH Investment Services can now bring compensation claims to the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

The FSCS confirmed on 12 August that it is now open to claims against HDH Investment Services, four months after the firm entered liquidation. HDH, which provided financial brokerage and advice services, entered creditors' voluntary liquidation on 16 April, with Dina Devalia and Tom Parish of Quantuma Advisory appointed as joint liquidators. The Financial Conduct Authority had previously raised concerns that HDH may have given unsuitable financial advice to some customers, potentially resulting in financial loss.
