CII launches strategic manifesto to help build public trust

The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has launched its strategic manifesto, setting out a roadmap for the next five years to show how it will modernise and work with the insurance sector to build public trust.

Speaking at the launch of the manifesto, CII CEO Sian Fisher (pictured) called for the wider profession's support for the programme of change. She said: "We all know insurance is a force for social good. Along with education and medical care, it is one of the three great empowerers of all our lives. "The public believe two of these are provided by professionals. They don't think this about insurance today. This is a challenge - but also an amazing opportunity for all of us."
