PFS names NFU Mutual's Nick Turner as president

Brendan O'Ciobhain completes year in role

NFU Mutual sales and agency director Nick Turner has been appointed president of the Personal Finance Society (PFS) for 2016/17 at the professional body's Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Having joined the PFS's board in 2011, Turner (pictured) now moves up from his role as vice-president - taking over from Brendan O'Ciobhain, who stepped down following his 12-month rotation as PFS president. The AGM also saw Cathi Harrison and Jonathan Rees both reappointed as PFS directors. Turner is shortly expected to announce a presedential theme for his leadership of the body.
