CISI appoints Campbell Edgar as head of financial planning

He will sit alongside financial planning committee

The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) has appointed former John Lamb adviser and Distribution Technology board member Campbell Edgar as its head of financial planning.

Edgar will be supported by deputy head of financial planning, former Institute of Financial Planning (IFP) director of training and education Jacqueline Lockie. The two fixed positions will be responsible for promoting and growing the financial planning profession, including raising greater awareness of the Certified financial planner (CFP) qualification. They will be based at CISI's office in London, reporting to global director of business development Kevin Moore, starting 3 May.
