The government is to set a fintech strategy for the UK in an attempt to remain the leading market for financial services innovation.

Economic Secretary to the Treasury Harriett Baldwin (pictured) set out the plans in a speech at the 2016 Innovate Finance Global Summit in London on 11 April. She said the government wants to show it is committed to initiatives which will "make our fintech sector even stronger".
