SimplyBiz creates role for IFP director and poaches from Tenet

A former director of the Institute of Financial Planning (IFP) has joined adviser support services provider SimplyBiz in a senior management role.

Former IFP business development director Cath Faulds has taken the newly created position of head of strategic relationships at SimplyBiz. The group also poached Tenet's head of business development Tom Hegarty to become managing director of its training and development division New Model Business Academy (NMBA). In her new role Faulds will manage the group's relationships with product providers and support the professional development of advisers.
