Sanlam nets £150m in assets from Chartered firm buyout

The wealth planning arm of Sanlam UK has acquired the client bank of Chartered financial planning firm FA Watts Investment Managers.

Sanlam Wealth Planning acquired the Fareham-based firm for an undisclosed price but said it will bring about £150m funds under advice to its total of £1bn. Three of FA Watts' advisers and three back office staff will also join Sanlam Wealth Planning and will continue to work from their old offices under the Sanlam brand. Sanlam is a global group consisting of wealth management, financial planning and investment firms.
