VIDEO: Commission 'cleanser' Ivan Massow launches mayor of London bid

Entrepreneur Ivan Massow, who set up a controversial trail rebate firm, has launched his bid to become the next Conservative mayor of London with a candid Youtube video.

In the one minute clip (below), Massow revealed his is gay, a former alcoholic, dyslexic, adopted and a businessman. One of the businesses he set up in September 2011 was called Commission Cleanser, or Paymemy.com, with the claim that it could help advisers' clients reduce the future trail commission they are due to pay for advice that they will not receive. But he was forced to close it two years later in August 2013 because "it made a loss every time" it paid commission back to a customer, he said.
