FCA warns of unauthorised wealth manager

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has warned of a scammer pretending to be an authorised wealth manager and targeting investors in the UK.

The regulator said it believed Cavendish Investor Wealth Management has been providing financial services or products in the UK without its authorisation. The firm gave investors the address 25 Canada Square, London, E14 5LQ and website www.cavendish-investor.co.uk. It also used 0207 608 5536 and 0207 416 6743 as its telephone contact and [email protected] as its email address. The FCA urged investors to only deal with regulated firms and contact its consumer helpline on 0800 111 6768 if they come across a firm which does not appear on the financial services register. ...
