Royal London launches Annuity Bureau service

Royal London has launched an annuity shopping around service to assist customers looking to buy a guaranteed income for life at the best rates.

The service will be available to Royal London's four million direct customers who do not have a financial adviser as they approach retirement. The annuity bureau, developed with Just Retirement Solutions, is designed to help people shop around and find the most competitive rates. Royal London said it has significantly expanded its current services, which is provided by Prudential. It explained customers can now compare both standard and enhanced annuities from ten annuity providers, including Prudential.
