Ex-Threadneedle CEO Davies joins Romer-Lee consultancy

Former Threadneedle CIO, CEO and chairman Simon Davies has joined Square Mile Investment Research as a founding investor and chairman.

Davies, who has also been chairman of Cofunds and the Investment Management Association, is currently chairman of the J.P. Morgan Overseas investment trust. He also holds non-executive directorships at Old Mutual Wealth Management and FTSE 250 property firm Grainger. "Simon brings significant industry and leadership experience as well as a proven ability to lead, manage and grow successful businesses and he provides strong, focused governance," said Square Mile MD and head of investment Richard Romer-Lee (pictured).
