IFP swamped with paraplanner award applications

The Institute of Financial Planning (IFP) has been swamped with applications for this year's Paraplanner of the Year award.

The award, which is being organised by the IFP for the first time this year and opened for entries only two days ago, has already received more than 30 applications. This is despite the demanding application process that requires applicants to fill in a technical questionnaire, write a 1000 word essay, and get a testimonial from an adviser or planner with whom they have worked, explaining why they deserve to win.
