Credit Suisse completes JOHIM sale

Credit Suisse has completed the sale of J O Hambro Investment Management to the private client business' management team and Bermuda National Limited (BNL).

The deal will see BNL retain JOHIM's management team and investment process and will give that management team "continued autonomy in running the business". The business, which had assets under management of £3.9bn as of 30 June, is expected to be rebranded following the agreement. “To reflect the change in ownership, we are currently in the process of developing new branding, details of which we will announce shortly.  There are no plans to change our people, business model or investment process," said JOHIM CEO Hugh Grootenhuis.
