Zurich appoints investment strategy director

Insurance provider Zurich has appointed a new director in its corporate investments strategy and governance department.

Lillian Goldthwaite has joined the insurer's corporate savings wing after spending 24 years in the financial services industry in institutional asset management and retirement solutions in the US and UK. Her previous jobs included strategy, proposition development and governance roles for firms including Aviva and Friends Life UK. She will be reporting to head of corporate propositions Dave Lowe, who said: "Lilian is highly experienced and we are delighted to have someone of her calibre on board."
