One quarter of adviser firms to sell in three years - research

Some 27% of advisers expect to have sold their firms within three years according to research.

The research, conducted by Action Consulting, questioned 40 firm principals and found 27% of advisers said they expect to sell to a rival or larger firm within three years. Some 11% of those questioned expected to have merged with a comparable intermediary and 7% expected to have closed over the same period.
