Paraplanning 'no longer a job but a career'

The profession of paraplanner is fast becoming a respected career path for young graduates, with higher qualifications becoming more common and wages rising, an industry survey suggests.

The Institute of Financial Planning's (IFP) annual paraplanning survey found that almost half of its respondents foresaw a career in the practice and earned more than £30,000 per year. Most respondents to the survey, which was conducted ahead of today's third annual IFP Paraplanner Conference in Warwick, said they felt happy in the job and valued as a team member.
