Adviser raises £3,100 for autism charity

The managing director of Southend and Harrow-based RDP Financial Services has raised £3,100 for the National Autistic Society (NAS) after completing the London Marathon.

Aaron Mears, who finished Sunday's race in a time of 4 hours 30 minutes, was raising money for NAS because his four year-old son, Riley, was diagnosed with having autism when he was two. "It was an incredible race and part of me - not my legs I should add - wishes it could have gone on for longer," said Mears. "The crowds were incredible; it was like a four-hour party! The whole experience has blown me away. This was my fifth marathon and, though it was my slowest time, it was by far the best one I've participated in."
