Informed Choice D2C platform goes live

IFA firm Informed Choice has launched its direct-to-consumer (D2C) proposition, IC Direct, following a year of beta-testing.

The Fidelity FundsNetwork-powered platform caters to consumers with between £20,000 and £40,000 of investable assets. Investors will pay a clean fee for funds, with a flat platform charge of 45bps. An annual account fee of £45 is waived until April 2015. Founder Martin Bamford said the proposition would form an important part of Informed Choice's strategy. The firm currently caters for clients with an average of £300,000 of assets.
