ILC-UK initiative to help increase LTC advice

Longevity think tank, the International Longevity Centre-UK (ILC-UK), has set up a network that aims to help ensure people are given regulated advice around long term care (LTC).

The working group, called the Care Funding Advice Network, also aims to ensure that people are able to meet the costs of their care.  It hopes to achieve these objectives by liaising with and influencing all the relevant stakeholders. The stakeholders will include advisers, local government, care providers and members of parliament. The think tank has employed Nick Kirwan to the role of director of the network.
