Aberdeen rolls out unbundled RDR share classes

Aberdeen Asset Management has unveiled unbundled share classes across its fund range in preparation for the onset of the Retail Distribution Review (RDR).

The unbundled share classes will be offered across Aberdeen's UK and Luxembourg domiciled open-end pooled fund ranges ahead of the RDR deadline of 31 December. The flat annual management charge on an individual fund's share class will exclude any commission payments or platform fee rebates. There will be a range of pricing between 0.25-1% depending on the asset class and strategy, encompassing cash, corporate bond, multi-asset, UK equity and emerging market equity portfolios, according to the firm.
