AFH acquisition plans boosted by £650k share issue

IFA firm AFH plans to raise just over £650,000 through a share issue to fuel its acquisition plans.

Directors of the firm said they had received firm commitments for a total of 658,500 ordinary shares. An announcement to the PLUS stock exchange said: "The proceeds of the fundraising will be used to provide additional working capital for the company and to finance potential future acquisitions." Options have been granted to members of staff, IFAs within AFH and directors John Wheatley and Toby Denne. Interim results from firm, released yesterday, showed its revenues were up 20% compare to last year at just over £3m.
