Friends Life rolls out RDR-ready charging options

Friends Life has introduced fee facilitation options across a number of product ranges ahead of the implementation of new remuneration rules brought about by the Retail Distribution Review (RDR).

The provider has written adviser and consultancy charging options into a number of its corporate benefit and retirement income products, including the Flexible Retirement Account on its corporate platform, some annuities and Lifetime Care, its long term care proposition. It will also introduce a fee option on its individual protection products. Meanwhile, Friends said it was reviewing individually a number of its Heritage business lines.
