PFS appoints board adviser

The Personal Finance Society (PFS) has appointed Sharon Sutton as an adviser to its board.

Sutton, managing director of Thornton Associates, was the Isle of Man's first Chartered financial planner and specialises in multi-jurisdictional financial planning, as well as advice for businesses and trusts. She has been chairman of the PFS Isle of Man region since its formation in 2010. "I am honoured to be co-opted as an adviser to the PFS board and look forward to working with board members to help drive professionalism and ethics within the financial planning community, both locally and further afield," Sutton said.
