Yearsley exits Hargreaves Lansdown

Hargreaves Lansdown's investment manager Ben Yearsley has left the firm, Investment Week understands.

Yearsley, who has worked at Hargreaves for 14 years, is a widely-known figure in the industry, and is often quoted in the trade and national press. He does not have another job to go to and will take time out of the industry, Investment Week understands. Peter Hargreaves, co-founder of the advisory firm, confirmed Yearsley's departure. He said: "Yearsley is off to seek another challenge. He covered all manner of things such as VCTs, funds research, corporate and investment PR. We will not make a direct replacement as these responsibilities are covered by more than one person."
