Investec launches RDR-ready share classes

Investec Asset Management is the latest group to launch a range of clean share classes ahead of the year-end RDR deadline.

The group is in the process of launching 39 share classes for its £10bn UK OEIC range with an annual management charge of 0.75%  – half the AMC on share classes traditionally used by retail investors. David Aird, managing director at Investec, said: “We have spent two years planning for RDR and we can now say we are legitimately RDR-ready way before the deadline, so our clients and distribution partners know where we stand. “We are launching clean share classes to cover all of the funds in our UK OEIC.” The funds will sit alongside the existing share classes, which charge 1.5%, “to su...
