RP Poll: Was the government wrong in scrapping the age-related personal allowance?

In this week's quick fire poll we ask: the ‘granny tax' has caused great controversy in the media with many commentators saying it is yet another example of pensioners being penalised.

But do advisers think the government was wrong in freezing the age-related personal allowance for current pensioners and scrapping it altogether for people turning 65 after April 2013? It was close, over half (54%) said no, while 46% agreed pensions should not be immune in such cases.
