Henderson's Kitchen takes over from McQuaker

Graham Kitchen, head of UK equities at Henderson, has taken over as head of equities from Bill McQuaker.

McQuaker is to remain at the group as deputy head of equities but wishes to focus on his fund management responsibilities, including his multi-manager funds. He says, "When I agreed to take the role as head of equities almost two years ago, I did so with the commitment that my primary responsibility was to my clients. "With the proposed acquisition of Gartmore, and the increasing workload that will bring, it is appropriate for Kitchen and me to swap roles.
