Pioneer and Exeter Friendly have confirmed they will come together under the Exeter Family Friendly name and the provider says it will focus on selling its products through intermediaries.
The mutual insurer is announcing its plans to consolidate both friendly societies under a single brand name following their merger in 2008. Both income protection and private medical insurance brands had remained while a strategic and operational review was completed.
