Towergate Financial appoints director of client proposition

Towergate Financial has appointed former Hartford man Dan Russell to the newly created role of director of client proposition.

Russell, who started his role on August 2, previously ran Russell Consulting Associates where one of his main clients was SimplyBiz. Prior to that, he worked at the Hartford. Reporting to business development director Dan Saulter, he will lead the development of the Private Client proposition launched towards the end of last year, covering platforms, investment solutions and adviser tools. He will also take charge of the roll-out of Towergate's Transition Toolkit to new IFA firms.
