Unum unveils 'intelligent' underwriting system

The ‘intelligent' system is available on the Assureweb and True Potential platforms, and the provider believes it will be able to make 80% of underwriting decisions immediately. It has been designed to simplify the application process for advisers and, where possible, enable immediate cover without having to obtain a doctor's report, regardless of the amount of benefit being requested.
