Two 'senior' City professionals arrested in insider dealing probe

Six people including two senior City professionals "at leading institutions" have been arrested following an insider dealing investigation by the FSA.

A joint operation carried out with the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) since 2007 resulted in the arrests this morning. As part of the operation, the largest insider dealing investigation ever undertaken by the FSA, 16 addresses were searched in London, the South East and Oxfordshire. Among the suspects are two senior City professionals at major institutions, and one professional at a hedge fund.
