Third man arrested over St James's Place adviser's murder

A third man has been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of a financial adviser at his home in Northern Ireland last year.

Father-of-four Geoff Kerr, 60, was shot dead during a struggle with intruders at his County Antrim home in Templepatrick on 27 April 2009. A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland said a 59-year-old man had been arrested in the Templepatrick area on Wednesday (13) morning. Two men have already appeared in court charged with the murder of the Ballymena-born financial adviser, an employee of the St James's Place Partnership.
