PruProtect hires director for claims and underwriting

Gyseman joins the business from a background in insurance and reinsurance - including as global chief underwriter for GE Insurance Solutions (GEIS) - and as both an underwriter and risk manager. More recently Gyseman held the position of chief underwriter for Munich Re, leading a significant overhaul of the firm's underwriting division. He has also worked across a number of countries with reinsurers of reinsurers (retrocessionaires) and was the chairman of the risk management committee for GEIS.
