Advisers plough back into Europe following institutional lead

Advisers have started increasing their recommendations to European funds, following in the footsteps of many institutional investors who have started to pile into the sector.

According to August's IMA figures, institutional net flows into the Europe ex UK sector comprised £147m of the total £317m in net equity sales. Advisers believe there will now be an increase in flows from retail investors looking to take advantage of a continued recovery in Europe along with the income opportunities offered by the region.
