Fortis Life sets sights on national and network IFAs

Fortis Life is set to target national and network IFA propositions as it seeks to build on its UK market share.

The insurer says it has already established itself with a number of protection specialist brokers, such as LifeSearch, but will now press ahead with wider distribution roll-out plans. It today reports new annual premiums totaling £6.4m for the 12 months to 30 June - its first year of trading - and says it now provides cover to 38,500 customers and boasts an IFA market share, according to ABI figures, of 3.4%.
