Standard Life in £41m property portfolio sale

STANDARD Life Investments Property Holdings has sold a portfolio of six properties to Sackville Properties for £41.5m, delivering a net initial yield of 6.6pc.

The portfolio comprises five office buildings and one industrial property, located in towns and cities across southern England and Wales. The portfolio realises a total annual rent of just under £2.9m, from tenants including Centrica, Life Assurance Holdings Ltd., Nantgarw (Companies House based in Cardiff), Remploy and Thresher. Jason Baggaley, fund manager of the Standard Life Investments Property Income Trust, said: “We are delighted with the sale of this portfolio from the Standard Life Investments Property Income Trust.
