Callander unveils retail fund range

BOUTIQUE firm Callander Managers has bolstered its presence in the UK after unveiling a range of funds for the retail market.

The company, which outsources the running of its funds to other asset managers, has £263m of assets under management spread across six portfolios. These include a Japan offering, one focusing on China, two US offerings, a central Europe fund and a Swiss based technology fund. The Callander fund China Universe is run by Goro Fukami who is head of portfolio management at DIAM Tokyo, a subsidiary of Mizuho Financial Group and Dai-Chi Mutual Insurance Company. The fund focuses on large cap stocks which are predominantly Hong-Kong listed China shares, while it also has some exposure to Singap...
