BARCLAYS Capital is launching a European Real Estate Income fund to give investors access to the European REIT market and provide diversification away from UK property.
The Dublin-domiciled OEIC provides exposure to the EPEU index, which tracks 47 REITs and real estate shares. The target yield is 7pc, gained from investing mainly in large capitalisation European REITs, which Barclays said offered the potential of up to 10pc to 15pc a year in capital growth.
