THE UK's first electronic bond application system, which promises to slash processing time from days down to minutes, has been created by the The Hartford.
The joint venture between the life company and IFA network, Positive Solutions, aims to eliminate paper applications and clients’ signatures when investment bonds for retirement savings are being processed. It is a concept based on a US model and has been launched in this country in a bid to accelerate the laborious paper-dependent process of mailing paperwork and recording the purchase to invest the funds.
