WH Ireland appoints new CEO

WH Ireland has appointed Richard Ford as its new chief executive officer, taking over from Laurie Beevers who moves to become executive deputy at the firm.

The pair will take up their new posts no later than 16 November, subject to appropriate FSA approval. Ford will join from Spencer House Capital Management, where he has been chief operating officer since 2006. Previously, he has held positions as founding partner and chief operating officer of ORN Capital, head of corporate headquarters for Fidelity and head of group legal and compliance for GAM.
