Scottish Provident to keep name after merger

Scottish Provident will retain its brand name following the proposed Resolution and Friends Provident merger .

Resolution UK new business marketing head Alison Turner-Holmes says it is business as usual for the protection arm. “The strength of the Scottish Provident protection brand is recognised as a very attractive element of the combined group,” she says. “Intermediaries can continue to recommend our menu-based protection benefits indefinitely.” Friends Provident marketing director James Ward says the Scottish Provident brand is highly-respected in the industry. “IFAs will be able to continue dealing confidently with both Friends Provident and Scottish Provident in the coming months and years...
