Sofa signs professional indemnity deal with NCG

The Society of Financial Advisers is launching a professional indemnity insurance deal which takes into account professional qualifications and the implied conduct of Sofa membership.

Due to be unveiled at the Sofa Update conference in November, this PI insurance partnership package with NCG Professional Risks is being piloted during October and November to assess whether the qualifications and assumed professional standards associated with the trade body does translate as a better rate of PI cover. NCG is part of a global risk and insurance firm known as US Risk Insurance Group, and currently provides PI cover to 2,000-2,500 people in the UK financial services market, but is looking to expand that remit by working with IFA and planning practices who can show evidenc...
