Skandia cuts income withdrawal product AMC

Skandia has reduced the annual management charge on its single priced income withdrawal pension product by 0.5% for new investors.

The special offer AMC will be 0.25% and applies to new investors transferring a minimum of £100,000 into the Skandia Price Personal Income Plan. The first payment must be received between 1 October 2008 and 30 April 2009. Approximately 60% of advisers expect income withdrawal business to increase over the next 12 months, according to results from surveys conducted at the Skandia Trailblazer events in May 08. Almost a third of advisers believe income withdrawal is suitable for over half of their clients, while a further half say it is appropriate for at least a quarter of their clients...
