Origo answers questions on UNIPASS survey

Answers to some of the questions put recently users of Origo's UNIPASS digital certificate technology present somewhat unexpected findings.

Paul Pettit, managing director Origo, says this is the case, for example, with answers suggesting 21% of UNIPASS users rely on bespoke back-office software. That suggests IFAs may be developing their own software, or perhaps still using and maintaining older software or systems. And, while a number of respondents said they would consider upgrading to a “more useful” back-office software package, nearly 4-in-10 said they would not. Pettit says that answer comes off the back of a couple of question seeking to find out whether UNIPASS itself would be reason enough to seek an upgrade. ...
