The FSA moved a step closer to a nationwide Money Guidance service this week after confirming a number of partner groups for its regional pilot scheme.
As part of the £12m Money Guidance Pathfinder, the FSA and its charitable and private sector partners will roll out a free financial advice service across the North of England. Following a tender process, the FSA and Treasury have partnered with five organisations to run the pathfinder project. The partners are: private sector contractor A4E, the Citizens Advice Service network of advice charities, the Knowsley Advice Forum partnership of Knowsley's advice sector, the Liverpool Money Talk Consortium and outsourced call centre provider, Teleperformance.
