New tool tries to clarify mortgage information

A need for more consistency and clarity in the information presented to mortgage clients may be helped by a new computer based system from Taxbriefs Financial Publishing.

Taxbriefs believes the new tool, Mortgage Report Writer, may become a pre-requisite for the mortgage sector as it contains clear explanations as to why a mortgage has been selected, an agreement from the client that the facts presented by the adviser have been understood along with evidence the client can afford the repayments. The company also claims the system will present all the options, benefits and potential risks an adviser needs to explain in one single report.
