Consolidator Perspective targets 30 IFA groups

Perspective, the consolidation vehicle for IFAs, says it plans to have 30 groups under its umbrella by the end of 2011.

Since its launch in April last year, the company has acquired six firms and says it is in the midst of negotiations with two more. It says it is targeting "quality firms that are able to demonstrate strong recurring income and profitability levels". As part of its mission statement for the next few years, Perspective says it is not focused on acquiring businesses based purely on turnover or adviser headcount as "neither of these are drivers of success".
